Think Like A Moutain
Who we are
Think Like a Mountain is an all-terrain cycling community that brings people who love two wheels closer with nature. We gather each month to ride, connect, learn and give back.

The group was founded by Rupert Barry and Jim Cossey, whose vision shape every ride. More recently, Roo Williams has been amplifying the community's potential — bringing digital skills and energy to the shared mission.
Our mission
It’s easy to feel helpless in the face of climate change. The forces at play are vast, and the problem often feels too big to touch. Yet as Charles Eisenstein reminds us, the answer can be simple: pick a place, and care for it.

For us, that place is the land beneath our wheels. By riding, exploring and sharing experiences together, we engage with the landscapes that hold us. Each ride, each memory made outdoors, strengthens a bond of respect with the land that provides. Riding month after month, through every season, we learn nature’s rhythms — and notice when something is out of place.
Through bikes and community, we believe joy becomes care, and care becomes stewardship. What begins as fun — flowing trails, wild rides, shared adventures — grows into something deeper: a lasting connection with the places we call home.
Want to help us?
South Wales has emerged as an incredible playground for riding, amongst other ways of being out-of-doors - home to world-class bike parks, skilled trail builders and event organisers, and miles of trail. We’re looking for brand partners who want to support this culture and be part of shaping its future.
Together, we can pioneer new models of co-operation with the land and its owners - reopening land, improving access, and building a stronger cycling community.
